Dr. Jennifer Wells
Dr. Jennifer Wells, DC is a native to Coeur d Alene, Idaho and is proud to be serving and giving back to the community she grew up in. She attended University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) with the intentions of becoming a veterinarian, but then was introduced to incredible field of chiropractic and changed course. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, but then attained another bachelor’s degree in Human Biology before continuing her education at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Here she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2014.
Dr. Wells believes in a “whole body” approach and focuses on nutrition, overall lifestyle, and the individual person. Her goal is to help you achieve your optimal health and well-being. She is trained in many diverse adjusting techniques, and if the normal chiropractic adjustments are not suited for you she customizes the techniques and tools to make your treatment comfortable and safe for you.
Animals have always been a passion of Dr. Wells. After graduating with her Doctorate of Chiropractic she attended the American Animal Chiropractic Association’s (AVCA) continuing education program that is open to only licensed chiropractors and veterinarians. When not working, you will find Dr. Wells with her husband and dogs at the lake or taking advantage of all the outdoor sports North Idaho has to offer. She will also be found at the stables spending time with her beloved horses.
Dr. Robert Steenbergen
Dr. Robert Steenbergen grew up in Northwest Oregon where he attended and graduated from the University of Western States with a degree in Human Biology and then received his doctorate in 2014.
Dr. Steenbergen first discovered the benefits of Chiropractic at a young age after a car accident. He continued to utilize chiropractic care as a young athlete to improve his performance as a wrestler and football player. Dr. Steenbergen uses chiropractic care to improve health and wellness in all areas of patients’ lives, whether they are having problems with back or neck pain or just want to feel better.
After being in private practice for a few years Dr. Steenbergen then decided to return to school to pursue training in animal chiropractic. He chose to attend ACES an American Animal Chiropractic Association (AVCA) accredited school to obtain his Animal Chiropractic Certificate. He is board certified to treat both you and your four-legged family members.
When not working, you will find Dr. Steenbergen spending time with his wife and son enjoying the outdoors that North Idaho offers. He enjoys hiking, hunting and working with his 2 dogs.
